Why it exists

Every free PDF app is full of ads. Every clean one wants a subscription.

Plain PDF is the third option. It is free and stays free. It does not hold the permission to use the internet, so it cannot show ads, cannot track you and cannot send your documents anywhere. Not "we promise not to". It is not able to.

The source code is published under the GPL, which means anyone can check these claims, and anyone who copies the app must keep it just as open. It is built for people who want big buttons and no hidden gestures, and it is made by one person in Serbia.

Languages

Seventeen of them, chosen inside the app.

English, Serbian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Arabic. Text recognition reads English and Serbian out of the box, in Latin and Cyrillic script; other languages can be added.
